All participants are encouraged to tailor the workshop experience to fit their own needs. If you want to skip one or more sessions, you can always catch up on the material you missed during the breaks.
In 2024, I will be teaching a year-long writing class in intentional journaling and generative freewriting. It’s called A Year of Writing Dangerously. It will be administered through this Substack and via Zoom. The class will consist of five sessions of six and a half weeks. Each session will include a live workshop (recorded for those who can’t attend or who wish to revisit), daily writing prompts, private chat threads, and live Zoom write-alongs. NOTE: The schedule for one-on-one office hour meetings has been filled for 2024. Additional workshop participants enrolling after January 31st 2024 can choose to be put on a wait-list if desired.
The class includes all five sessions:
February 1st—March 15th
April 1st—May 15th
June 1st—July 15th
September 1st—October 15th
November 1st—December 15th.
The cost is $50 per month ($600 total), or $300 for the full year.
Those who wish to do so can focus on creating the first draft of a personal essay collection or a memoir by the end of the year.
